Bible Life Classes (Sunday School)
Classes are provided for every age.  Bible Study is our most important ministry.  It is our “Flagship” ministry.

Adult Ministries
 
New Members Class
(6 weeks) Offered on Wednesday nights at 6:45 or Sunday afternoons at 4:30.  This 6 session class is video and power point based, and covers our beliefs, our ministries, our mission, goals and vision, and our church covenant.  It is also a great way to meet other new members and to ask questions.
A.C.T.S. Courses and Small Group Bible Studies
Wednesday nights, Sunday afternoons.  Our Academy of Christian Training and Support (A.C.T.S.) courses are short term courses, usually three to eight weeks.  These are offered at different times throughout the year.  Other Small Group Bible Studies are held throughout the year for men, women, coed,  and youth.
The Celebration Choir (Adult Choir)
Is for all adults – college and up.  They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 PM and sing during the early Sunday morning worship service.  They also sing for special events throughout the year such as Easter, Christmas and Patriotic services.
The Symphonic Band
Consists of student and adult players.  This group rehearses Sunday afternoons at 4:00 PM.  They play throughout the year for worship services and special events.
Our Praise Team ministry
Consists of vocalists and instrumentalists which help lead worship in the Contemporary Service.  They rehearse on Thursday evenings at 7 PM.
Counseling
Pastoral counseling is available through Hays Hills Baptist Church.
Care Groups
Care Groups meet once a month on the first Sunday evening of each month at 6:00 PM in the home of the various Bible Life class members.  Each Care Group is organized around a Bible Life class.

Women’s Ministry
Women meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM for intensive Bible Study.  Childcare is provided.   Also there are Women’s Bible Studies that meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45 PM.  For women over 40 there is a Tuesday morning Bible Study.  The Women’s Ministry also has a retreat once a year, “A Taste of Christmas” event and other fellowships throughout the year.

Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Breakfast is one Saturday of every month at 8:00 AM.  There is training for men on how to be “God’s man today.”  The men have chosen to help the single parents of Hays Hills by providing the expertise in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other areas of need.  This has been an encouragement to our single parents.  The Men’s Bible Study is on Wednesday evenings.
M.O.P.S.
Mom’s of Pre-Schoolers (infants-preschool) meets on the first and third Friday of each month, from 9:15 AM until noon.  Children’s activities are provided, and the moms gather for fellowship, learning and spiritual growth.

Teen Ministries
 
Youth
 Out of our love for Jesus Christ, our ministry exists to serve as God’s tool to teach Bible principles in the lives of youth, so they may be set apart for the call of God in their personal life, becoming a lover of Jesus Christ our Lord.  Meeting the challenges of today’s adolescents is an exciting ministry at Hays Hills.  Sunday school, Discipleship classes, Wednesday night Bible studies, DiscipleNow weekends, camps, retreats, and fellowship are just a part of reaching students.

Sunday Bible Life classes are both at 9:15 and 10:45 AM.  On Wednesday nights Jr. High students meet at 6:45 upstairs and go until 8 PM, and the High School students meet at 7:30 and go until 8:30 PM.  Call the church for a youth calendar, or any other information about this ministry.
Youth Trips
Our youth go on annual mission trips, youth camp, beach and lake retreats, discipleship camps, Disciple-Now weekends and more!
Break Away
Break Away is our Pre-teen choir program for 6th, 7th and 8th grades.  This group meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM.

Kids Ministries
 
Children’s Worship Service Sundays 10:45 AM
Pre-schoolers and Kindergartners stay in Bldg D – (two story), for an Extended Session while 1st & 2nd Graders stay in Building C classroom.  The 3rd through 5th Grade meet in Bldg. A – (with steeple.)  Children’s Worship is held every Sunday during the 10:45 service.  This worship service helps to teach and prepare these children for the time they will share in the adult worship service.
RAs for boys
Every Sunday afternoon from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, young boys, grades 1-6 learn about world missions, missionaries, and the Bible.  The physical activities consist of camp craft activities (much like scouting) and participate in athletic competition.  RAs stand for “Royal Ambassadors” taken from II Corinthians 5:20.
GAs for girls
Every Sunday afternoon at 4:30 PM we have "Girls in Action" for girls (1st - 6th Grade). They do fun activities to learn about missions and sharing God's love with others. They have camps, campouts and much more!
Rite of Passage
For 6th Graders.  Rite of Passage was developed in 1997 to improve the transition our young people make from 6th Grade into 7th Grade.  Their regular meetings are held on Wednesdays at 6:45 PM.
Kid’Z PraiZe
Meets on Wednesday evenings (during the school year) at 6:00 PM.  This is a children’s choir program for K-5th grades with a focus on learning the meaning of worship and scripture memory.

K.I.C.K. (Kids in Christ’s Kingdom)
KICK meets on Wednesday evenings (during the school year) at 6:45 PM.  There is a group for K-2nd Grade (Bldg D) and a group for 3rd-5th Grades (Bldg. A).  K.I.C.K. focuses on memorizing scripture and learning Bible truths through games and activities.
Break Away
Break Away is our Pre-teen choir program for 6th, 7th and 8th grades.  This group meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM.
Childcare/Pre-School
We have a professionally staffed childcare for all services and programs at Hays Hills.  If you have any questions about this area, please speak to the church staff.
Christian Learning Center (CLC)
CLC is a preschool for children ages 5 months to 5 years.  The Christian Learning Center provides hands on learning experiences that stimulates a child’s creative and intellectual side as well as provides training for spiritual and biblical principle education for preschoolers.  It is our desire that your child have the healthiest and happiest possible experience as he participates in this program.  Hays Hills CLC is a nonprofit program of Hays Hills Baptist Church established as a ministry of this church in 1991.  It is an outreach to children and families of this community.  CLC meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45 AM to 2:00 PM.  For more information call the church office.
